Bikaner has one of the largest Camel research and breeding farm in the world. It came into existence on July 1984 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Experiments and reserarch work is conducted here. You can watch their take care and training programmes. You can also ride on camel. You can taste the camel’s milk. The gamboling baby-camels make a very enchanting sight.

Udaipur is commonly known as the ‘city of lakes.’ It’s a lovely destination which has a charm of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples and gardens. Lake pichola and Fateh sagar lakes are the most beautiful lakes.

City Palace Museum on the east bank of Lake Pichola incorporates 11 wonderful palaces with awesome wall paintings, murals, marbles, granites, marbles, exquisite glass mirror, ivory doors, colored glass windows , inlaid marble balconies & ornamental tiles work., It was built by Maharana Udai Singh of Rajput clan in 1559. Its built wonderfully with a blend of Medieval, European and Chinese Architecture.These palaces were built at different times since 1559.

The former guesthouse of the city palace, Shiv Niwas Palace and the Fateh Prakash Palace have been converted into heritage hotels. Crystal gallery in Fateh Prakash Palace hotel, is probably the largest private collection of crystal in the world. The collection includes a bewildering number of objects d’art, dinner sets, perfume bottles, decanters, glasses, washing bowls and even furniture.

Ranthambore National Park is an ideal place for wildlife and nature lovers. It acquires an area of 1,334 sq km. It was announced as one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973 by the Govt. of India. In the old times, it was the favourite hunting place for the Maharajas of Jaipur.

The only temple of Brahma- known as the creator of world is in Pushkar. A majore Hindu pilgrimage attraction is considered sacred. Some less explored rural areas of Rajasthan also has its own charm offering you a peaceful environment with nature and countryside views. Such destinations are Ramathra Fort, Bhainsorgarh Fort, Bundi, Shahpura bagh. These places are surrounded or flourished with water bodies, small hills & beauitiful gardens. Shahpura bagh was previously the summer residence of the rulers of Shahpura. Shahpura Bagh with its heavenly 45-acre working farm estate surrounded by two lakes provides a unique setting in rural Rajasthan.

Fairs are also an important attraction of the state of Rajasthan. Camel fair in Pushkar, Kite Festival- Jaipur, Jaipur, Cattle fair in Nagaur (Eight day fair in Jan/ Feb), Sawan Teej Festival – Jaipur , Elephant festival of Jaipur celebrated one day before Holi, the Indian festival of colors, Gangaur festival etc. are some of the prominent festivals celebrated with great zeal. Gangaur is celebrated in the month of Chaitra for the well being of husbands (March-April), the first month of the Hindu calendar. All of these varied elements showcases the richness and depth of this destination giving you a travel experience with sweet memories for lifetime.
